Escardos...?

[The reply is questioning - for multiple different reasons.

The Escardos had been a small family - nothing special, as far as mages went, in his time. Yet, it had produced someone like Flat...?

And the other reason - he didn't introduce himself as someone of the House of Escardos, instead naming himself as a pupil of some kind of school. Did that mean he was disinherited...? ...Well, no, that only made perfect sense. Flat was so far from the 'proper' Mage mindset that any family would disown him, incredible talent or no.
